Item #1 Chairman Sebranek called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. Those present were Larry Sebranek, Allen Rippchen, Tom McGlynn, Gilman Moe, Randy Heims, Harriet Pedley, Joseph Fargen, and Cheryl Dull.
Item #2 Pedley stated she posted the agenda in the Richland Observer for two weeks and on the bulletin board in the courthouse. Motion by Moe, seconded by Heims to approve the agenda and publication. Motion carried.
Item #3 Sebranek asked if there were any additions or corrections to the March 11, 2010 meeting minutes. Hearing none, the chair approved them as mailed.

Item #4 The committee heard a petition of Joseph & Patricia Fargen of 32779 Logan Road to request a variance of 820 square feet from the requirement of 980 square feet which is 70% of the living space of the primary structure for the purpose of building a shed in Section 2 of Buena Vista Township. All setbacks can be met. There is no hardship because the variance is for the size not the placement.

Motion by Moe, seconded by Heims to approve the variance request. Motion carried with all members reviewing the same information and coming to the same conclusions.
Item #5 Randy Olson was not present for his petition of 30908 Olson Lane to request a variance to the required setback of 70 feet to the centerline of a town road (Olson Lane) to 60 feet in Section 13, Orion Township for the purpose of building an accessory structure (garage). A motion to table the petition until June 3rd when Randy can be present by Heims, 2nd by McGlynn. Motion carried with all members reviewing the same information and coming to the same conclusions.
