Item # 1 The Chairman Sebranek called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. Those present were Larry Sebranek, Tom McGlynn, Gilly Moe, Randy Heims, Harriet Pedley, Randy Olson, Richard Powers, and Cheryl Dull..
Item #2 Pedley stated she posted the agenda in the Richland Observer for two weeks and on the bulletin board in the courthouse. Motion by Randy, seconded by Tom to approve the agenda and publication. Motion carried.
Item #3 Sebranek asked if there were any additions or corrections to the May 6, 2010 meeting minutes. Hearing none, the chair approved them as mailed.

Item #4 The committee heard a petition of Richard & Diane Powers, Section 19, Orion Township, to request a variance to the requirement of a maximum square footage of an accessory structure not to exceed 70% of the total living space of the dwelling. The variance requested is an additional 741.2 square feet from the maximum of 758.8 square feet. The size of the dwelling is 1,084 square feet. The variance is needed for the rezone. Harriet told the committee that the shed has been there but now that he is rezoning; the shed is non-conforming for the district. He will go before the Zoning Committee on Monday, June 7 for the rezoning.
Neighbors heard from: Ron Ewing – As long as this is not a new building he had no problems.
Moved by Gilly, seconded by Randy to approve the variance request. Motion carried with all members reviewing the same information and coming to the same conclusions.
Item # 5 The committee heard a petition of Randy Olson, 30908 Olson Lane to request a variance to the required setback of 70 feet to the centerline of a town road (Olson Lane) to 60 feet in Section 13, Orion Township for the purpose of building an accessory structure (garage). Randy purchased a house from the Spring Green flood area. The house was moved in in place of the mobile home that was there. The mobile had and attached car port which was removed and he wants to build a garage in it’s place. Due to were the sewer lines are located he can not move it back any further.

Motion by Tom, seconded by Gilly to approve the variance request. Motion carried with all members reviewing the same information and coming to the same conclusions.

Item # 7 Next meeting is set for July 1st at 1:00 pm. Motion to adjourn at 1:15 by Randy, second by Tom. Motion carried.
