Answers to frequently asked questions:
 
There are two areas in the RFP when County Board approval will be required prior to proceeding. Additionally, a third time may be required which would be prior to the bid phase. These are not hard and fast and other times may be identified or not be required.
 
Requirements for errors and omissions insurance: If you do not currently have the required amount, you would be required to have the listed amount IF you are selected for the project.
 
We are expecting a list of personnel and specific charge rates for each specific person or classification. We are considering the word "task" on page 24 of the RFP to mean the tasks listed under each specific Phase of the project. For instance under the Construction Documents Phase 5.5, subpoints 5.5.1, 5.5.2, and 5.5.3 each would be considered a "task" for which a list of hours should be provided.
 
The civil engineering should be included in your proposal as a lump sum. If it is decided by the County to remove the civil engineering work from the proposal and to procure their own firm it will be deducted from your proposal at that time.
 
We assume that sprinkler and fire and smoke detection and protection design is included in the term "mechanical". Advice on furniture and furniture reuse is required if that is not included in your "interior".
 
Submission of a PDF file of the proposal instead of one compatible with Microsoft Word is acceptable.
