Symons Recreation Center Director
Director

Richland County and the City of Richland Center has a full-time opening for a Director at the Symons Recreation Complex. The purpose of this position is to supervise and direct all operations of the recreational center which serves over 10,000 people and includes a swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, two racquetball courts, weight lifting room and equipment, exercise room and locker rooms. This position also performs administrative tasks to include member recruitment, retention, and safety; equipment, exercise class, and staff scheduling; advertising, marketing, and positive public relations strategies; and budgeting, fundraising, and grant writing opportunities. This position reports directly to the Symons Natatorium Board and the facility is located on the UW-Platteville Richland Campus.


High school diploma with three years supervisory experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities is preferred. The wage range for this 40-hr/week position is $24.05-$25.14 per hour with county health, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
